  1. Hi. I'm Emma Worley, co-founder and COO of educational charity The Philosophy Foundation (mentioned as The Philosophy Shop on the programme and represented by Robert Torrington on the show). Listeners may be interested to know that the children's sessions described by Catherine Bickers, at The Philosophy Now Festival in London were provided by us, and 'the chair' and 'King Midas' sessions are both available in Peter Worley's book 'The If Machine' also mentioned on the programme. If anyone is interested you can find out more about us here: and our new book 'The Philosophy Shop' - a book for parents, teachers, groups of interested adults or individuals to get thinking about philosophy is coming into print in November this year.
